Jesus is the Relentless Light
What are you doing this Christmas season to make it live up to the fear that those that hate Christ have for Christmas?
The sermon, rooted in Genesis 3:14–19, confronts the reality of sin's curse on creation—thorns, toil, and broken relationships—while unveiling the enduring hope of God's redemptive plan revealed in the first promise of a coming Savior. Though humanity's fall brought darkness and suffering, the divine declaration of enmity between the serpent and the woman's offspring points to Jesus Christ as the promised victor who would bruise Satan's head through His sacrificial death and resurrection. This Advent message reframes Christmas not as a cultural tradition stripped of meaning, but as a powerful proclamation of Christ's victory over sin, death, and darkness, making it a season of defiant hope. The preacher calls believers to embrace this truth with joy and boldness, living as bearers of the relentless light that terrifies evil and draws the lost to the source of eternal life, transforming seasonal traditions into testimonies of redemption.
